Happy New Year, everyone!
Not quite as fast as last one, but still not quite as long as the usual 2 weeks either. Guess I kinda want to get to the Asuka/Aki part a bit sooner myself (not quite there yet though). :P
So yeah, as said before, I wanted to keep him kind of an ass, especially from Asuka's POV - but still ease up a bit more than you usually see. And I think having them pretty much already about to divorce and him at least initially expecting things to be fine after the accident should be a bit better than just having him unceremoniously dump his wife to start an affair with her doc after she's gone crazy. Plus at least showing some concern for his daughter, even if it doesn't help much (for example, this is where the previous comment that lil' Asuka liked to snoop around comes in - of course he hadn't intended for her to listen in on them going at it (and probably still wouldn't know that she did)).
Also, the second to last panel was the other contender for the meme panel I was talking about last time and up until I got to do the detailed sketch, the original intention was still to have Shinji just stare at Langley in some way. But since there is already plenty of staring going on, I figured this variant might still work just as well.
