And now for something (almost) completely different. :)
I had honestly never even considered doing anything for this "era" in Aki's life, I was pretty much always fixed on the max 4 year old, to only make a 10 year time skip for the epilogue. But during my unfortunately a bit short-lived renaissance (at least execution-wise) early this year, this idea just popped up in my head out of nowhere of a small moment of 8/9 year old Aki with her little sister that we would have otherwise not seen until that epilogue.
Now, as you can tell by the "1", there will be a few more pages of this scene, but otherwise, I should say right now, don't get your hopes up for much more. Maybe more ideas for this will pop up in the future, but for the time being, 4 year old Aki is staying in the spotlight.
I had originally wanted to post all those pages at once (not to mention quite a bit earlier, but as said, at least execution-wise the push earlier this year unfortunately didn't last that long), but who knows how long that would have taken me and I kinda wanted to get this one out finally. :P
Content-wise: I did consider a "silent" version, but in the end I felt the reason for Aki's mood might not get properly across with just "noise lines". Maybe I'll put up a text-less version on dA later on.
