Wasn't something I realized until I wrote this, but yeah, I guess they could kinda pass as siblings of a patchwork family, Shinji and Asuka being the first children of one of their respective parents and Aki the first of both.
Now, let's not think too much of any of those parents getting around, Asuka certainly doesn't. Proud Mama of course would be happy to have someone note the family likeness.
